PC Optimzer was part of an installation of Iyogi SupportDock(India). They claim to be a comprehensive tech support company with certified technicians, highly skilled in providing computer support. I was able to support my own pc better. What a scam!!

I hardly used their service during the two year subscription. When I did I finally got sick of them messing up my computer after each repair session something else would always be wrong after completing a fix. Plus they were always trying to up-sell me on their products and services. So after fixing all the issues myself with the help of Google, I decided not to renew my subscription. What a waste of time and money.
I removed their Iyogi Support Dock software Uninstall from the programs folder, but I still would see the PC Optimizer popup every Sunday as it was scheduled. I scoured the web but all the ways listed were of no help to me. I decided to see if there were any remaining Iyogi program folders and sure enough there were two separate sets of folders with PC Optimizer files residing in them. These files were renamed by Iyogi so that explains why I was unable to find the files that were listed for removal on the internet when I searched on how to remove PC Optimizer. If you hover your mouse on any of the files in these folders they say

Description: PC Optimizer – PC Optimzer – System Proctector
Company:Iyogi Inc.,(www.iyogi.com)
File Version: 3.0648.7508
Date Created: xx/xx/xx
Size: xx KB
I even found a file: iysoUninstallManager.exe
Description says this file is the uninstall manager.
I tried to run it, it showed up in Task manager/processes for a few sec then stopped. Most likely because I did the uninstall from the programs folder.
The folder locations are:
C:\Program Files\iYogi SupportDock\pccare
C:\Program Files\iYogi SupportDock\pcsupport
So I’m sure that once I deleted these folders I would be seeing the app doing anymore scheduled Sunday updates.
Hope this helps others who may have purchased a pc support subscription from unscrupulous companies outside of the US.
